Litigation Paralegal

Responsibilities

  • Review and manage electronic/hard copy documents
  • On-site review of client and opposing party files
  • Document preparation, such as date-stamping, redaction, and duplication
  • Drafting complaints, answers, answers to discovery requests, subpoenas, notices, memoranda, and client correspondence
  • Conduct legal research as needed
  • Prepare binders for hearing and trial exhibits
  • Review and summarize deposition transcripts
  • Attend and assist in trials as support for attorneys

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred;
  • Experience in data privacy is preferred, not required
  • Articulate with excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Microsoft Excel

Office Clerk

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Basic computer skills working knowledge of relevant software applications including MS office Time management skills and ability to prioritize work
Attention to detail and accuracy
Numeracy skills
Adaptability
Team work
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
Some experience in professional office environment
Ability to lift boxes up to 10 lbs.
High School diploma or equivalent
Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position; may require irregular hours.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal law office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
